Preparing for Launching the ERBB Service: Closed Beta Testing

The Bitbon System is a social network of economic relations, the infrastructure of which consists of software, base services and components. They are launched and developed in accordance with the Roadmap, which meets the requirements of the rapidly developing global digital economy. At the end of 2021, the Roadmap for one of the base services of the Bitbon System, the ERBB service, was published on the official information resource of the Bitbon System, the main task of which is to develop and promote the Bitbon System decentralized social network of economic relations on global trading platforms and in services using the ERBB token in the Ethereum network.

While developing this service, our team did its best in the technological as well as economic and legal aspects. In particular, while forming the legal basis for operation of the base ERBB service, the Appendix to the Bitbon System Public Contract “The ERBB Service” was prepared. This Appendix establishes the rules and conditions for using the ERBB service in the Bitbon System and also defines the nature of the ERBB token as a polyasset[i], units of which circulate in information systems outside the Bitbon System in the form standard for the Ethereum blockchain network (an ERC-20 token standard) and grant their owners the right to use the Bitbon System infrastructure. We also decided to update the name of the ERBB service — Exchange Request for Bitbon. In our opinion, the updated name fully reflects the essence and principles of the service.

As part of the implementation of this project, a fully functional version of the ERBB service has been developed, which includes all improvements in the components and base services of the Bitbon System. The infrastructure of the ERBB and One Space services was deployed in the Bitbon System test environment with connection to the Ethereum testnet, and interaction of the test environment of the ERBB service with one of the largest decentralized exchanges Uniswap and the MetaMask crypto wallet was organized.

At the moment, the ERBB service is ready for a full-fledged launch for 90%. In order to improve the quality, reliability, stability and ergonomics of the service by the time it is launched, the closed beta testing of the ERBB service will be launched in the Bitbon System in the next few weeks. This means that all interested Bitbon System Users will be able to apply and join the test group.

Participation in the closed beta testing of the ERBB service envisions checking the main functions and processes in the operation of the service, searching for errors and vulnerabilities, a comprehensive assessment of the ergonomics of the ERBB service, providing detailed feedback, as well as conducting marketing activities to promote the ERBB service and the Bitbon System as a whole. The beta testing also includes the Bug Bounty program, which provides rewards for finding bugs, exploits and vulnerabilities in the ERBB service.

During testing of the ERBB service, our team asks you to pay attention to the following:

  • user-friendly interface;
  • interaction of the Uniswap exchange with the ERBB token;
  • ERBB token transfers between the Ethereum network addresses;
  • interaction with MetaMask;
  • direct and reverse transformation processes;
  • verification of the algorithm for calculating the transaction fee in the Ethereum network for transferring the ERBB units from the ERBB service address to the user’s address in the Ethereum network;
  • smart contract vulnerability detection.

We invite all interested Bitbon System Users to join the closed beta testing of the ERBB service. To participate in beta testing, an additional advantage for Users will be a technical background, experience in software testing, the ability to work with the MetaMask crypto wallet and the Uniswap exchange, and practical knowledge of working with ERC-20 tokens in the Ethereum blockchain network. We also offer bloggers and Users with an active audience in social networks to join the test group.

To be included in the test group, you need to fill out the form for participation in the closed beta testing of the ERBB service before December 31, 2022. After our team reviews all applications for participation in beta testing, a test group of about 150 people will be formed. For convenient communication with test participants, a closed Telegram channel will be created, where we will provide all necessary instructions. The Company plans to use the gained experience in the future.

Teams specializing in deep comprehensive testing of blockchain products will also be involved in the closed beta testing in order to assess the stability of the ERBB service to attacks, hacks, compromises and other actions of a fraudulent and destructive nature, which may also affect the stability of the service during the testing period. The official launch date of the ERBB service in the Bitbon System and in Ethereum, the main blockchain network, will depend on the vulnerabilities found and the time period required to fix them.
